Eliza Benson

ELIZA BENSON Eliza Gabrielle Benson, child of the covenant and precious infant daughter of Kyle and Gabby Benson passed from this life into eternity with her Savior on May 19, 2015. She was born April 30, 2015 at the Women's Hospital, Tupelo, Mississippi. As a child of believing parents, Eliza is a member of the covenant of grace. Her parents and family rest on the central promise of Scripture: "And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you." (Genesis 17:7) Because of this belonging, Scripture calls her a child of God, loved by God, known by God, holy to the Lord, and a sharer in the kingdom, not because she's naturally innocent, but because of God's redeeming grace to her in Christ. Therefore, though their hearts are full of sorrow over her passing, they are also overflowing with sure hope, that their beloved little girl has been called out of this world by her heavenly Father, has passed into the immediate presence of her Savior, and has entered into a more abundant order of life and joy. And, one day they will be reunited with her in glory. A funeral service will be held at Lawndale Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 21, 2015 with Reverend Bill Bradford officiating. A private family graveside service will follow at Tupelo Memorial Park. She is survived by parents, Kyle and Gabby Benson, Tupelo, Mississippi; brother, Griffin; sister, Elinor; grandparents, Rusty and Ann Benson, Tupelo, Mississippi and Barry and Joy Clement, Murfreesboro, TN; great-grandparents, Jim and Jo Benson, Tupelo, Mississippi, Eddie and Eloise Albares, Thibodaux, Louisiana, Carroll and Maedra Clement, Chackbay, Louisiana; aunts and uncles, Graham and Peri Benson, Collierville, Tennessee, Adam and Emory Kirk, Fulton, Mississippi, Jenny Clement, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Jamie and Liz Montgomery, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jamie and Stephanie Reid, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Barry Clement, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; several cousins and great aunts and uncles.
