Edward "Ed" Gillenwater, III

EDWARD "ED" GILLENWATER, III Tupelo - Edward Booth Gillenwater III, 37, died Sunday, October 14, 2012. He was born October 18, 1974, in Meridian, Mississippi to Edward Booth and Virginia Laird Gillenwater. He loved spending time with his children and friends. He also enjoyed music, fishing and playing pool. Services were 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of two years, Michelle Gillenwater of Tupelo; two children, Edward Gillenwater IV of Pontotoc and Miley Coggins of Pontotoc; two step-children, Daniel and Jacob Lowry of Tupelo; one sister, Wendy Gillenwater (Brendan Rea) of Guntown; his parents Edward Gillenwater Jr. (Judy) of Griffithsville, West Virginia and Virginia Sandefer (Roy) of Oxford; two grandmothers, Sybil Laird of Guntown and Thelma Gillenwater of Griffithsville, West Virginia; two nieces, Alicia and Amber Rea of Guntown; three nephews, Keith, Brendan and Segan Rea all of Guntown. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward Booth Gillenwater, Sr.; his uncle, Ruben Laird; a nephew, Memphis Rea; his aunt, Mary Linda Jordan (Kitty). Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Vines, Rod Richardson, James Smith, Dennis Lyons, Bobby Davis and Shane Cayson.
