Edna Mae Estes
TUPELO - Edna Mae Estes, 85, died Saturday, June 9, 2007, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A Alabama native, she was born to the late George Carlis and Lula Blaylock Rhudy. She was retired from Reed's Manufacturing.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues. Burial will be in the Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Earl C. Estes and wife, Charlene, and Ronnie Estes and wife, Angie, all of Tupelo; one sister, Velcie Sullivan of Blue Springs; one half-sister, Lottie Stevens and husband, Billy, of Biloxi; three half- brothers, Leon Rhudy and wife, Betty, G.C. Rhudy and wife, Jane, and Carl Wayne Rhudy and wife, Wanda, all of Nettleton; five grandchildren, Steve, Bubba, Shane, Josh and Veronica Estes, all of Tupelo; and seven great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Earl F. Estes.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
