ED FREDERICK Shannon - Edwin Earl "Ed" Frederick, 74, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at his residence. He was born April 11, 1937 in Red Bay, Alabama to Thomas Edwin and Fannie Neola Steele Frederick. He graduated from Central High School in West Helena, Arkansas in 1956. He also later attended Itawamba Junior College. He worked in several states including Tennessee, Florida and Georgia before retiring from Daybrite in Tupelo after twenty-five years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Services with military honors will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include three sisters, Mary F. Perrin (Dean) of Shannon, Callie Ann Harris of Lake View, South Carolina and Judy Carol Berg (John) of Lake Jackson, Texas; one brother, Thomas Jerry Frederick of Memphis, Tennessee; a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sharon Wright in 1986. Pallbearers will be Jay and Thomas Wright, James, Edwin, Brandon and Terri Perrin Honorary Pallbearers will be employees and former co-workers of Daybrite. Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguesfuneralhome.com
