Earline Wilder Brooks

EARLINE BROOKS Tupelo - Earline Brooks, 92, died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Tupelo on September 29, 1922 to Essie Cletis and Geneva Jones Wilder. She enjoyed camping with her late husband, Buster Brooks with the Tombigbee Indians and the Good Sam's R. V. Club. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Ricky Young officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include daughter, Shelby Jo Cobb (Tommy) of Tupelo; grandchildren, Kimberly Dawn Holland (Bob) of Grenada; great-grandchildren, Taylor Brooke Holland and Michael Chace Holland. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. "Buster" Brooks; her parents and one brother, Harold F. Wilder. Pallbearers will be Harold Bradley, John Crubaugh, Jack Johnson, Doug Hankins, Charles Maxwell and Quitman Harris. Visitation will be 10 - 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
