Saltillo ? E. D. Denham, 80, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, from injuries sustained during an automobile accident. He was born in Benton County on October 2, 1931 to William Connie and Daisy Lucille Rhines Denham. After graduation from high school, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War Conflict. He had been employed with Road Builders and Heavy Equipment of Memphis for twenty-seven years before starting his own business, Denham Tractor and Heavy Equipment, Inc. of Saltillo, which he co-owned with his son. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, loved working with his cows, his antique tractors, spending time with his family and friends.



Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2012 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Sammy Lansdell and Rev. Frank Breaux officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.



Survivors include one son, Doug Denham (Micheal) of Saltillo; one granddaughter, Renee Denham; two sisters, Janet Wages of Coffeeville and Lou Emma Crestman of Grenada; one brother, Wilburn Denham of Michigan; neice and special caregiver, Mechelle Sheets of Oxford.



He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Denham; his parents; one sister, Ruby Rogers; three brothers, Russell, Dallas and Ralph Denham.



Pallbearers will be Doug Denham, Murry Alexander, Hugh Rice, Doddler Smith, David Wood and Tim Gillespie.



Honorary Pallbearers will be the Coffee Drinkers at Brenn's in Saltillo.
