DWIGHT WILLIAM BURCHAM
Ohio - Dwight William Burcham, 49, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio after a sudden illness. He was born on December 15, 1963, in Mobile, Alabama to Charles Ray and Margaret Williams Burcham and for most of his life was a resident of Lee County. He was a born again Christian. He was employed at Illinois Tool Works, Tomco Division as a Human Resource Specialist in Bryan, Ohio. He was a 1982 graduate of Tupelo High School. He graduated from the Mississippi State University and studied human resources at the University of Alabama. He served as a First Lieutenant in the Mississippi Army National Guard. He was an avid Bama football fan and enjoyed professional wrestling and golfing but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his children.
Survivors include two sons, Wesley and Carson Burcham of Indian Hills; his mother, Margaret Burcham of Indian Hills; two brothers, James W. Burcham (Tracy) and David O. Burcham, both of Saltillo; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Burcham; his grandparents, James B. and Vera Burcham and Oliver and Bernice Williams.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at The Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Randy Kolb and Pastor Charles Covington officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Zion Cemetery in the Pratts Community.
Pallbearers will be William Dixon, Charles F. Burcham, Bryan Burcham, Mark Burcham, Derrick Brock and Joel Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bart Brown and Jimmy Blaylock.
Visitation will be 5 ? 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Saltillo Funeral Home.
