DOTTIE "HONEY" HALE Tupelo - Dottie "Honey" Hale, 80, died Monday, July 27, 2015, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. A Lee County native, she was born August 9, 1934 to Allen and Jewell Short Stephens. She worked in various clerical positions until retiring with the North Mississippi Medical Center where she worked from 1993 until 2012 as a switchboard operator. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and sharing her creations with others. She was a member of Eggville Free Will Baptist Church. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Minister Leon Willis officiating. Burial will be in Eggville Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Stephanie Baldwyn of Mooreville; two grandchildren, Allen Andrew Baldwyn (Stephanie) of Eggville and Angela Keith (George) of the Brewer Community; three great greandchildren, Stephen Andrew Baldwyn, George Allen Keith, and McKenna Grace Keith; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Stephens of Eggville. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Stephen Baldwyn; and two brothers, Charles Allen and J. T. Stephens. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo. Memorials may be made to the Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 W. Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38801. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguesfuneralhome.com
