Tupelo- Dorothy Mae (Dot) Moore, 81, died Monday, October 25, 2010, at The Sanctuary Hospice House. A native of the Auburn Community, she was born June 30, 1929 to Joseph and Anna Theresa Dozier McMullen. She was the widow of John Moore who died March 1,2002. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Gary Linville and Rev. John McMullen officiating. Burial will be in Eggville Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Tish Archer of Byhalia and Sandy Schneweis of Booneville; two brothers, Rev. John McMullen of Oxford and Billy Joe McMullen of Nesbit; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchilren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, two sisters, Mary Lou Presley, Margie Caillouet; and three brothers, Jimmy McMullen, Warren McMullen, and Charlie McMullen.
Pallbearers will be members of her family.
Visitation will continue 1:30 to service time Wednesday
