DOROTHY SANDERS Unity - Dorothy Sanders, 65, born in Lee County on October 22, 1948, to Osley and Odean Hardy Clark, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Oxford. A C & A, she worked at the North Mississippi Medical Center for about thirty-five years as well as with Region Three. Fishing and watching races where among her favorite hobbies. She loved her family dearly and her special dog, "Peanut". She was a member of Birmingham Ridge Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Bobby Holland officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery. She leaves behind her husband of twenty-eight years, Wayne Riddle of the Unity Community; two sons, Mark Sanders (Sonya) of the Unity Community and Craig Sanders (Patty) of Saltillo; four grandchildren, Leslie Brown (Thomas) of Houlka and Andrew Sanders, Emily Sanders and Austin Sanders all of Saltillo; two great-grandchildren, Andrea Yother and Jade Brown of Houlka; three sisters, Mary Weaver of the Auburn Community, Rebecca Wilson of Guntown and Ruby Dillard (John) of Sherman; her special caregivers, Kaye Morgan and George Weaver. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlotte Sanders Russell; her parents; two brothers and two sisters. Pallbearers will be Roger Dillard, Robby Wilson, Ed Felks, Tim Howell, Matthew Dillard and Andrew Sanders. Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2014, at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues.
