Savannah, GA - Dorothy Leatrice Greenway, 80, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at her residence after a lengthy illness. A native of Oklahoma, she was born May 12, 1930 to John W. and Carrie L. Gilstrap Rucks. For sixty years, she served as a Ministers wife, of which 37 years was served in Tupelo. She held the position of section two ladies leader for 20 years. She loved singing and speaking at special meetings. A talented and gifted musician, she played many musical instruments such as the guitar, accordion, harmonica, organ, and the piano. Also, she loved her Cocker Spaniel Sport.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2010 at Cedar Grove United Pentecostal Church with Rev. David Hodge, Rev. Kenny Childers, Rev. Danny Robbins and Rev. Thomas Craft officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Rev. Cecil Greenway of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Pamela Hodge (Rev. David) of Savannah, Georgia, Patty Childers (Rev. Kenny) of Starkville; one sister, Norma Rutledge of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Tonya Marin (Elkin), Kimberly Burns (Jerry), Jeffrey Hodge, Jeremy Hodge (Christina) all of Savannah, Georgia, Kelly Smith (Dean) and Kendall White (Bryce) all of Starkville; eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and eight sisters.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Burns, Elkin Marin, Jordan Marin, Dean Smith, Bryce White, and Cresley Pierce.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Donald Pearce and the men of the Cedar Grove UPC Keenagers Group.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m., Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the church.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Grove United Pentecostal Church and The Rev. Greenway Family memorial, 1741 Grove Point Rd., Savannah, GA 31419.
