DOROTHY COOK
Tupelo ? Dorothy Edith Cook, 79, gained her wings Monday, January 14, 2013. She was born May 30, 1933 in the small town of Brooklyn, Mississippi. Dorothy met and exceeded at every challenge life seemed to send her. She was very loved by her family.
A private memorial service will be held for the family. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors will be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her children, Gloria Jean McDonald of Wiggins, Johnny Anderson of Brooklyn, Michael Anderson (Renate) of Byhalia, Jerry Cook, Sr. (Linda) of Gautier; ten grandchildren, Kim, Loretta, Angel, Michael Paul, LeCole, Sandy, Rose, Jerry Jr., Stephanie and Michelle; eighteen great-grandchildren that she treasured.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Cook; her parents, Robert Wallace and Dorothy LeMaster; one brother, Jimmy Wallace.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do a random act of kindness for someone today.
