Donna Mihelic McMillian

DONNA MCMILLIAN Houston - Donna McMillian, 68, died peacefully at Webster General Hospital on May 4, 2015. She was born in Houston and graduated high school there and received her nursing license from St. Joseph's School of Nursing. The highlight of her career was serving as Nursing Orientation Instructor at the North Mississippi Medical Center for twenty years. She married David McMillian and they had one daughter, Dawn. She loved to sing, tell stories and play with her grandchildren, Celia, Jennah and John David Pate. She loved to have tea parties. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Houston which her Father was instrumental in helping to establish. Visitation will be 2 until 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Houston with services following at 3 p.m. She is preceded in death by her husband, David McMillian; parents, Louise and John J. Mihelic; brothers, John and Mike Mihelic. Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Pate (Steve); grandchildren, Celia, Jennah and John David Pate; siblings, Sandy Porter (Robert) and Tony Mihelic.
