Donna Jarzen

TUPELO " Donna L. Jarzen, 62, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven after a sudden illness. She was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, but had been a resident of Tupelo for the last 25 years. She was the office manager at the Barnes Crossing Mall for the last 15 years and a member of St. James Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church with Father Tom Lolar officiating. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Terry Jarzen of Tupelo; one daughter, Leann Swafford (Stacey) of Petal; two sons, Brent Jarzen (Lori) of Albany, Ga., and Ryan Jarzen (Kelly) of Monroe, Ga.; two sisters, Debbi Stahlberg (Dale) of Columbia Station, Ohio and Denise Maloney (Ed) of Columbus, Ohio; her mother, Alrene Sarwinski of Columbia Station, Ohio; six grandchildren, Zachary Jarzen, Scott Jarzen, William Joseph Jarzen, Benjamin Swafford, Parker Swafford and Sydney Helen Swafford; and three nephews, Kyle Stahlberg, Christian Stahlberg and Taylor Maloney.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mitchell Mattie Sarwinski.

Pallbearers will be Dale Russell, Rob Roof, Terry Dufford, Robby Long, Tim Bullock and Richard Carlton.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, with a Prayer Vigil for the deceased following the visitation at the church.
