Fulton - Donis Deaton, 90, died Sunday, February 12, 2012, at The Meadows in Fulton after a short illness. She was born October 16, 1921 in Tupelo to John and Minnie Raper Presley. She was a member of Richmond Pentecostal Church. She loved watching the Hallmark Television channel and the Fulton T.V. Ministry. Most especially she loved her family. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at The Richmond United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ricky Pierce and Rev. Jerry Keith officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her son, Larry Deaton, Sr. of Mooreville; five grandchildren, Phillip (Wendy) of Madison, Alabama, DeeAnn Deaton of East Dubuque, Illinois, Chrissy Foster (Ricky) of Ripley, Larry Deton, Jr. (Fiancee, Barbara) of Palestine, Texas and Amanda Deaton and her mother, Theresa Deaton of Fulton; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Buford Deaton; ten brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Larry Deaton, Jr., Phillip Deaton, Al Linley, Truman Presley, Davis Lee, Travis Mask and Rick Foster. Honorary Pallbearers will be Amanda Deaton, Chrissy Foster and Kay Linley. Visitation will be Noon until service time at the church.
