TupeloDonald W. Allred, 63, died Saturday, January 24, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born January 8, 1946, to the late William Ben Allred and Eva Jewel Broughman Allred. He was the owner of Donald Allred Heating and Air. He enjoyed collecting die cast cars and loved his work.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the First Pentecostal Church on Thomas Street with Bro. Larry Hill Sr. and Bro. Tommy Galloway officiating. Entombment will be at Lee Memorial Park Mausoleum. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Ann Allred of Tupelo; one daughter, Kimberly Palmer and husband, Steve, of Tupelo; one son, Chris Allred and wife, Tammy, of Tupelo; two grandchildren, Brianna Palmer and Katie Allred, both of Tupelo; two sisters, Barbara Kidd of Tupelo and DeLaine Dillard of Mooreville; and two brothers, Tim Allred and wife, Vicki, of Tupelo and Larry Allred of Jackson.
Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Donald Allred Heating and Air.
Special honorary pallbearers will be Jack Horne and Roger Bean.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time today at the church.
