Don Moore

DON MOORE Huntsville - Don Moore, 62, passed away Thursday, Christmas Day at Community Hospice at Darlington Oaks. He was born February 26, 1952 and attended Huntsville High School. Don was a butcher for many years at Harold's Market at the family owned store in Huntsville, AL and also worked for Star Market in Huntsville and the Shop-n-Save in St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Moore and his parents, James Moore, Jr. and Ruth Curry Moore. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Maple Hill Cemtery in Huntsville, Alabama with his son, Bro. Butch Moore officiating. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors in Tupelo, Mississippi is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Ann Byrum Moore, children, Bro. Butch Moore (Kim), Anna Moore Cooper (Shawn), Simone Bontly (Aaron) and Nichole Smith (Travis Thompson); grandchildren, Jena Claire Cooper, Macey Cooper, Chris Bagwell, Beth House (Michael), Tate Smith and Raleigh Bontly; sisters, Mary Moore Newby (Jim) and Benita Moore Souders (Ronny); great-grandchildren, Emma Moore and Madison House.
