DIMPLE ALLEN
Tupelo - Dimple H. Allen, 81, died Friday, January 26, 2007, at The Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. A Fulton native, she was born June 21, 1925 to the late James and Lula Bell Swindle Hood. She was married October 20, 1951 to William C. "Clinton Allen who preceded her in death April 20, 2002. She was one of the original employees hired to start Action Industries where she retired after 23 years. She was a lifelong resident of the Tater Hills Community. Her wit and compassion for her neighbors, friends, and animals will always be remembered.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Andrews Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Washburn officiating. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her extended family at the Riverbirch Personal Care Home, where she lived for two years prior to going to the Sanctuary Hospice House, and a host of other very special friends and family.
Pallbearers will be Buster Priddy, Terry Green, Mark Bryson, Gilbert Fowler, Harold Green, and George Lyons.
