DIANE DEVAUGHN Mooreville - Hazel Diane DeVaughn, 70, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. She was born March 2, 1944 to James and Hazel Cruise Rayburn. She was a Saltillo High School graduate. She and her late husband owened Dee's Furniture Manufacturing in Tupelo for 20 years. She loved flower gardening and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist Faith. Services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors with Mr. Sammy Lansdell officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Whitt (Ricky) and Kat Hayman both of Mooreville; two brothers, Bill and James Rayburn; seven grandchildren, Blake Whitt, Brantley Whitt, Benton Whitt, Bailey Whitt, Chloe Haymon, Zoe Haymon and Gavin Patrick all of Mooreville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion DeVaughn; one brother, Butch Rayburn and her parents. Pallbearers will be Blake Whitt, Brantley Whitt, Benton Whitt, Bailey Whitt, Gavin Patrick and Ricky Whitt. Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
