DELLA HERRING
Tupelo - DELLA MAE HERRING, 82, died Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. A Cherokee, AL native, she was born October 18, 1924 to the late Claude and Mary Alice Hutcheson Burns. She was a member Mayfield Church of Christ, Saltillo. She retired from North Mississippi Medical Center. She loved sewing.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Robert Garland officiating. Burial will be in Plantersville Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters,Annette Kelly and Frances Patterson both of Tupelo; one sister, Nellie Ruth Smith of Red Bay; four grandchildren, Lysha Lynn Lentz and husband Kelly, Kimberly Kay Kelly, Christi Shields and husband Jimmie, and Michael Kelly ans wife Tonia: five great grandchildren Steven Lentz, Austin Lentz, Joshua Witcher, Kelly Witcher, Joey Shields..
She was preceded in death by parents; her husband Robert Herring; one sister Louise Daniel.
