Delisa A. "Dee" Hood

DELISA HOOD Saltillo - Delisa A. Hood "Dee", 54, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at her residence. A Tupelo native, she was born August 18, 1959, to Daniel Russell and Charlene V. Langley Forrester. A devoted housewife and mother, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Bro. David Perry officiating. Burial will be in Boguefala Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Merle Hood of Saltillo; two children, Kendra Hood of Saltillo and Jennifer Hayse (Chris) of Saltillo; four grandchildren, Jordan Clippard of Shannon and Joshua, Katelyn and Peyton Hayse all of Saltillo; one brother, Perry Forrester of Saltillo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Charlene Forrester and one brother, Kenneth Forrester. Visitation will be 12 - 4 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014, at Saltillo funeral home.
