David "DJ" Vail, Jr.

DJ VAIL, JR. Saltillo - David "D J" Vail, Jr., 25, died suddenly Thursday, September 26, 2013, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A California native, he was born September 26, 1988, to David Lorne Vail, Sr. and Staci Lyn Olin Vail. He served for five years in the United States Air Force, completing one tour of duty in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Currently he worked as a field technician for Direct T.V. He loved riding his motorcycle, playing video games, NASCAR and spending time with his family. Services with Military Honors will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013, at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Burial will be in Greenbrier cemetery in Amory. Survivors include his father, David Vail, Sr. of Olive Branch; one brother, Bryan Thomas Vail (Stephanie) of Saltillo; his grandparents, Jimmy and Linda Hurley of Amory; one niece, Jessie Lyn Vail. He was preceded in death by his mother, Staci Vail. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Funeral Account of David Vail, Jr., c/o W.
