DAVID GRIMES
Plantersville - DAVID GENE GRIMES, 55, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at The North Mississippi Medical Center. A Lee County native, he was born March 9, 1952, to the late Wynton and Jo Ann Hall Grimes. Before becoming disabled, he worked as a supervisor for Better Brands. He was an avid motorcyclist.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues. His son, Chadwick Grimes, will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Priceville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Nelda Lee Grimes of Plantersville; two sons, Chadwick Lee Grimes of Plantersville and Daniel Grimes of Palmetto.
Pallbearers will be Paul Shefield, Chris Howell, Mike Davis, Brice Kuykendall, Chris Graves, and Rich Littlejohn
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Tupelo Tornados.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
