David W. Bowen, Sr. 89, passed away on Sunday, May 13th 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday May 18, 2018 with visitation one hour prior to service time at First United Methodist Church in Tupelo, Mississippi.
David is survived by his wife of 59 years Joan S. Bowen of Tupelo; daughter-in-law Kayrn H. Bowen and his grandson Jeffrey C. Bowen of Humboldt, Tennessee. He is also survived by his niece Carol Bowen Tucker and nephew Ernest Lake Bowen III of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Lake Bowen Sr. and Charlie Evelyn Bowen, son David W. Bowen Jr. of Humboldt. He is also preceded in death by his sister Helen Bowen Ausley and brother Ernest Lake Bowen Jr. of Tupelo.
