Tupelo - Dale Wilbanks, 60, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at his residence after a sudden illness. A Mooreville native, he was born January 29, 1948 to Rubal Hamm Wilbanks Priddy and the late Charles Wilbanks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the softball games played in Veterans Park near his home. He attended St. Mark United Methodist Church.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Donny Riley officiating. Burial will be in Gilvo Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Rubal Priddy and two brothers, Danny Wilbanks of Tupelo and Billy Wayne Wilbanks, of Texas.
Pallbearers will be Charles Riley, Danny Wilbanks, Terry Parks, and Sonny McGonagill.
Visitation will be 5-9 Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the funeral home.
