DALE C. CLIFT
Tupelo - Dale C. Clift, 88, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Tupelo on October 1, 1924 to Fred and Mary Hannah Carmack. A very faithful Christian, Dale served her Lord in many ways. She was a life-long member of the First Christian Church and served as the librarian for about ten years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames, 17th Century. Her hobbies included collecting baskets and cookbooks. She enjoyed extensive travels with her husband. She was a very loving wife and mother; always considerate and compassionate of others.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues in Tupelo with Rev. Johnnie Wray officiating. Entombment will be in Lee Memorial Park Mausoleum in Verona.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-three years, Jesse C. Clift of Tupelo; one daughter, Christi Traughber (Ed) of Florence, Alabama; four step-daughters, Carolyn Blount (Charles), Charlotte Goodwin, Cindy Jackson and Carlene Williamson (Jimmy); many step-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece; a grandson, Lee Traughber of Florence Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fred and Ted Carmack.
Visitation will be 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at W.E. Pegues Funeral Home.
