Cynthia Kaye Hudson Feltenstein

Casey Feltenstein Tupelo - Cynthia Kaye Hudson Feltenstein, 61, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at her home. She was born November 11, 1952 to David and Evelyn Crenshaw Hudson. She grew up in Starkville and graduated from Starkville High School and then went on to Matty Hersee School of Nursing in Meridian. She married in 1989 to Ned Arnold Feltenstein. She was a Registered Nurse at Golden Living Nursing Home. Casey attended First United Methodist Chuch in Tupelo. She was an avid animal lover and supporter of the Tupelo Lee Humane Society. She leaves behind three beloved dogs, Rufus, Lowla and Gypsy and two cats. Graveside services will be Monday, August 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Tupelo Memorial Park with Rev. Corey Truett officating. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include three step-sons, Ned Feltenstein (Taylor) of Jackson, Matt Feltenstein of Fredrick, MD. and Guy Feltenstein of New Orleans, LA.; two cousins, Stephanie Gibson Barrett (Richard) of Oxford and Courtney Gibson Nickels of Starkville; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth "Libba" Akers (Mickey) of Tupelo and Cathy Feltenstein of Meridian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Arnold Feltenstein; her mother, Evelyn Cresnshaw Hudson; her father, Daivd Kennedy Hudson and one aunt, Juanita Crenshaw Gibson; one uncle, Harold Crenshaw and one cousin, Tommy Edsel Gibson.
