CURTIS ROBERTS



Tupelo - Curtis Floyd Roberts, 69, went to be with the Lord, after a long battle with cancer, on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born on December 25, 1947, to Ottis and Arlene Hankins Roberts. Curtis was a graduate of Tupelo High School. He was a former employee of E. R. Carpenter. Curtis was a faithful Christian and a member of Parkway Baptist Church.



Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Parkway Baptist Church and one hour prior to the service Tuesday.



Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Parkway Baptist Church with Pastors Matt Scopel and Matthew Haney officiating. Graveside services will follow in Tupelo Memorial Park.



Survivors include his wife, Donna Roberts; sons, Brian Roberts (Tammy) of Mooreville, Jason Roberts (Mona) of Mooreville, Wesley Roberts (Kasey) of Tupelo and Ben Spigner (Christy) of Mantachie; daughter, DeAnna Dabbs (John) of Nettleton; brother, James O. Roberts (Diane) of Tupelo; aunt, Oletha Hankins of West Point; cousins, Yvonne Malone (Tom) and Daryl Roberts (Karla) all of Birmingham, Alabama; grandchildren, Emma Roberts, Belle and Lexi Roberts all of Mooreville, Cameron Roberts, Addison and Carter Finch all of Tupelo, Madison, Mallory and Logan Dabbs of Nettleton, Chanton and Grayson Spigner of Mantachie; brother-in-law, Joe Ewing (Peggy); sisters-in-law, Betty Haney, Linda Taylor (Jerry) and Angie Ewing and numerous nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister; infant grandson, Nicholas Spigner; sister-in-law, Kathy Poole and brother-in-law, Bobby Ewing.



Pallbearers will be Joe Ewing, Jerry Taylor, David Cox, Russell Gray, Robert Lee and Mike Bumgardner.



Honorary pallbearers will be Lanny Adams, Daryl Dickinson, Rickey Hendrix and Mike Buse.
