Curtis C. Ellis

Plantersville—Curtis Cleo Ellis Jr. passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 in Tupelo.  He was born October 29, 1970 in Tupelo to Curtis Cleo Ellis Sr. and Debbie Baughman.  Curtis worked as a roofer in the construction industry.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting for arrowheads.  He found great joy in spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.  

He leaves behind two daughters, Kristen Dillard (Patrick) and Morgan Ellis; four grandchildren, Xavion, Alaysia-Rose, and Honor Dillard and Jamari Dancer; two sisters, Tabitha Smith (Stuart) and Telisha Ellis; a brother, Chris Ellis; and his step-father, Stanley Baughman.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, a brother, Michael Baughman; and his step-mother, Christine Baughman.

Visitation will be 12 until 1 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Pegues, Tupelo.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ingomar Cemetery with Rev. John McAlister officiating.  Pegues Funeral Directors has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Brian Baughman, Buddy Baughman, David Payne, Robbie Payne, Johnny Martin, and Eddie Ruff.
