CORRINE MILLER COOLEY

Tupelo - Corrine Miller Cooley, 84, born to Fred and Burma Greer Miller in Union County on January 29, 1929, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Reed House at Traceway Manor. She was a 1949 graduate of Center High School. On September 29, 1952, she married her husband, Allen Cooley.

During her thirty-five year career, she held different positions with the company before retiring in 1984. An avid traveler, she enjoyed sewing and working hard in her yard and garden. She loved her family and cherished time spent with them. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

Private family stateroom services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2013, at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo with Rev. Matt Scopel officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.

She leaves behind two children, Jeff Cooley of Tupelo and Phyllis Drope (David) of Pontotoc; two grandchildren, Hannah Drope and Shelby Drope both of Pontotoc; one sister, Edith Temple of Tupelo; sister-in-law, Bonnie Berry of Tupelo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Cooley in 1987 and her parents.
