Corey Matthew Wilemon

Nettleton - Corey Matthew Wilemon, 17, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was born August 9, 1998. Corey's first love was music. He played the french horn and mellophone for Nettleton High School Tiger Band. "One band, one sound". Corey had taught himself to play the piano, was learning to play the guitar and loved to sing. He listened to every genre of music. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015, at the Jefferson Street Chapel with Rev. Rickey Johnson and Rev. Bobby Elliott officiating. A graveside service will follow at Forked Oak Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his mother, Missy Wilemon of Nettleton and step-father, Mark Lambert of Snowdown; mother, Dee Wildman and Cathy Jackson of Nettleton; three step-sisters, Megan Sellers (Jesse), Kim Lambert of Booneville and Casey Payne of Nettleton; aunts, Lisa Wilemon and Mary Cain (Mike) of Booneville; a special cousin, Steve Williamson; grandparents, Clyne Wilemon of Tishomingo, Nelda Burcham of Corinth and Billy and Harriet "Mamaw BUG" Wildman of Nettleton; two very special friends, Mikayla Marble and Britney Uptown and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joanne Wilemon; uncle, Ray Wilemon; aunt, Billie Jo Wildman; great-aunt, Ouida Wilemon Williamson; great-uncle, Claude Wilemon. Pallbearers will be Michelle "Hollywood" Parker, Matt Cook, Jesse Sellers, Jerry Wildman, Brad Wildman and David Harrison. Visitation will be 1 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at W. E.
