Guntown - Clyde Eugene Collins, 79, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born in Tupelo on October 11, 1933 to William Bill and Darlene Mosley Collins. He enjoyed fishing and wrestling but mostly just spending time with the family and grandkids.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Collins of Guntown and Michael Collins (Loretta) of Tupelo; his daughter, Beverly White (Wayne) of Amory; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Jones (Billy) of Collinsville, Alabama and Linda Hall of Guntown; one brother, Dale Collins of Tupelo; sister-in-law, Martha Wilson of Tupelo.
He was preceded in death by his wife,Annie Mae Collins; his daughter, Lori Collins; his brother, Johnny Collins; two sisters, Annie Jean Henderson and Geneva Willett.
Pallbearers will be Steve Wilson, Billy and Rick Nunnelee, Adam Crocker, Daniel Anderson and Jerry White.
Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Saltillo Funeral Home.
