Cleo Bishop

Saltillo - James Cleo "Bud" Bishop, 65, died Friday, August 19, 2011, at the Jaquith Nursing Facility in Jackson after an extended illness. A native of Lee County, he was born January 26, 1946, to Charlie and Beatrice Price Bishop. He worked trimming limbs around power lines. He enjoyed fishing, walking collecting cans for recycling, and playing cards. He was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2011 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Wesley Kingsley officiating. Burial at Camp Creek Cemetery. Survivors include four sisters, Dean Saylors and Mary Sue Hall (Roy Lee) of Saltillo, Lynda Joyce Hall (Kerry) of Aberdeen, and Paulina Bishop of Jackson; three brothers, Roy Bishop (Brenda) of Guntown, Dock Bishop of Booneville and Glenn Sam Bishop of Hoio; a special friend, Sue Pettigo Martin of Birmingham Ridge.
