CHRISTINE RANDOLPH
Swainsboro, Ga. - Christine Pannell Randolph, 86, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital. A New Albany native, she was born June 22, 1920 to the late Walter and Katrina Pannell. Called "Mama" by all her family, she was a wonderful mother and extremely dedicated to her family. She was a longtime member of Harrisburg Baptist Church, an artist and loved sewing and gardening. She had lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Swainsboro, Ga. for the past three years where she attended First Baptist Church of Swainsboro.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Johnny Rakestraw officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include one daughter, Martha Randolph Brown (Dr. Robert Brown), of Swainsboro, Ga.; two sons, Richard Randolph (Linda) of League City, Tex., and Mike Randolph (Kim) of Gainesville, Ga.; three sisters, Dale Rakestraw of New Harmony, Joyce Brown of Ingomar, and Betty Jo Speck of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Jerry Pannell of Blue Spirngs; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Billie Randolph.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
