Christine Cupp

Guntown - Mary Christine Cupp, 76, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born May 19, 1938 to the late Virgil and Anna Christine Heath. She was a long term, active member of Eggville Freewill Baptist Church. Her hobbies included gospel singing, going to church and being with family and friends. She loved spending her spare time enjoying her grandchildren. More than anything, Christine enjoyed going on the Senior Saints church group trips. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at Eggville Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Gerald Gann officiating. Burial will be in Eggville Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Davis of Guntown; two sons, J.A. Cupp (Terry) of Saltillo, Danny Cupp (Melinda) of Star City, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Stella Mae Cariker, Brinkley, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and brother-in-law, Bobby Don Cariker. Pallbearers will be Robert Patterson, Chris Whitehead, John Webb, Lynn Turner, Tracy Byrd, and Michael Cupp . Honorary pallbearer will be Andy Brooks. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the church and continue on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
