CHRISTINA JOHNSON RAUSCH Fulton - Christina Michelle Johnson Rausch, 31, died Saturday, May 30, 2015, at her residence in Fulton after a sudden illness. She was born in Okinawa, Japan January 2, 1984, to William Glenn Johnson and Paula Coker Davidson. She attended Mooreville Elementery School until the third grade then homeschooled throughout the remainder of her education. She worked at Kid's World as a preschool teacher. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and attended Cross Point Ministries. A loving and caring mother, she enjoyed being with and cheering for her children in their numerous little league baseball games. Christina often referred to herself as Logan's "living pancreas", her type one diabetic son, who she so diligently cared for. She loved spending time with her family and often planned family gatherings. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Lowell Johnson, Rev. Reggie Miller, and Dr. Thad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Gilvo Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Jamie Rausch of Marietta; three children, Logan Chandler Johnson, Dylan Parker Rausch, Carson Glenn Rausch all of the home; her parents, Rev. Kenneth and Paula Davidson of Fulton; brother, William Glenn Johnson Jr. (Deanna) of Pontotoc, Christopher Michael Johnson of Fulton, John Allen Davidson (Cyndi) of Saltillo; grandparents, Paul and Shirley Coker of Tupelo; nieces and nephews, Stephen Johnson, Cameron Glenn Johnson, Kaleigh Raine Johnson, Adyson Olivia Davidson and a host of other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one child, Cayson Rausch; her father, Rev. William "Glenn" Johnson; and grandparents, Gene and Leora Johnson. Pallbearers will be Alan Holcomb, Bud Coker, Tyler Coker, Pat Coker, Corey Coker, and Jeremy Stanley. Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311 and American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
