CHARLIE C. MALONE, SR.



Mantachie - Charlie Cecil Malone, Sr., 93, died Friday, February 8, 2013, at The Meadows in Fulton. He was born January 4, 1920, in Tupelo to Rich and Sally Marcy Malone. He served in the United States Army as a Private during World War II and attended Friendship Baptist Church in Peppertown.



Services will be 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Mark Tutor and Bro. Jonathan Baker officiating. Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.



Survivors include three daughters, Janice McCarty (Dan) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Watson (Kevin) of Mantachie and Lisa Stepp (George) of Shannon; one son, Charlie Malone, Jr. (Brittany) of Sherman; thirteen grandchildren, Justin, Jordan and Kolt Daniel Malone of the home, Ashley Phillips and fiance Zach, Britney Phillips and Charla Watson all of Mantachie, Jacob Stepp of Shannon, Ronald, Gerald and Donald Erikson, Audra Wotta all of Colorado Springs, Patricia "Malone" Kleinsmith and Christine "Malone" Moore both of Yankton, South Dakota and Michael Malone of Casper, Wyoming; twenty-three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Audrey Denice Malone; one son, Richard Malone; three brothers, Marvin, Jim Thomas and Leester Malone; two sisters, Lovie Malone and Dovie Mann.



Pallbearers will be Tim, Justin, and Jordan Malone, Randy and Andy Black, Zach Adams and Alex Gray.



Honorary pallbearers will be all his nieces and nephews.



Visitation will be 4- 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the funeral home.
