Charles “Charley” Eugene Bennett passed away June 13th, 2016 in Tupelo, MS.He was born March 6th, 1936 in Blackton, AR to the late Elmer and Mary Bennett.After graduating high school, he left Holly Grove, AR and he moved to Memphis, TN where hestarted working in the Printing industry. Shortly thereafter he started his own printing business: C & C Printing Company.
Among his greatest joys was Hunting and Fishing in his beloved home state of Arkansas.
He is survived by his daughter, Rene’ Bennett Brown and her mother, BarbaraClemons Burke, and two grandsons, Nicholas and Jacob Brown, Marcus and Jackie Westcott and their three children: Katie, Taylor, and William Westcott, Aimee Cates Hurley and her two sons: Jillian and Ethan Hurley.
Siblings include: Velma Hill, Donald Ray Bennett and his wife Ann Mackey Bennett and his wife Janice. And many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Andrew “Buddy” and Elmer Lee.
Services will be held in Clarendon, AR on Thursday, June 16th, 2016 at Bob Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m.
There will be not graveside services.
