Charles Robinson

Tupelo - CHARLES JUNIOR ROBINSON, 62, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at the Memphis V.A. Medical Center after an extended illness. A Booneville native, he was born November 12, 1945 to the late Carl B. and Katie A. McDonald Robinson. He attended Mooreville High School. He was reitred from the U.S. Navy after 24 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Graveside Services with military honors will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Auburn Cemetery with Rev. Dale Carr officiating. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Mays and husband, Jesse, of New Albany and Marcy Bean and husband, Chris, of Mooreville; one son, Matthew Williams and wife, Serena, of Dorsy; two sisters, Martha Stanford and husband, Lawrence, of Tupelo and Marie James and husband, Eddie, of Baldwyn; one brother, Jody Robinson of Saltillo; three grandchildren, Corinthian Mays and Alix and Paige Bean; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James E. Robinson.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
