Charles (Mickey) Johnson

Meza, Ariz.--Charles Mickey C. Johnson, Sr. died June 26 th, 2008 at the age of 81. He was born and raised in Verona, Mississippi. He served in the U. S. Navy after graduating from Tupelo High school. After the Navy he worked in the insurance business in Tupelo before moving to California to work in the oil and gas industry. He retired from a long career in the Oil Industry in 1999 and moved to Arizona. He remained in AZ until the time of his death.

Friends and loved ones will gather at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues for a memorial service at 1pm Sat. Oct. 25th, officiated by Rev. Bill Carroll. Graveside services will follow at Verona Cemetery.

He is survived by his three sons, Charlie, Jr. of Bakersfield, CA, David of Corpus Christi, TX and Jeff of Mesa, Arizona, his two daughters, DeeDee of Durango, CO and Jenny Tolan of Austin, TX. He leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
