Charles McKnatt

Charles McKnatt, born on August 6, 1937, in Tipton, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the age of 86. Charles was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army and now rests in God's Army. Throughout his life, he was a dedicated family man, always putting the needs of his loved ones above his own. Known as one of the best mechanics in Tupelo, Charles’s hands could fix just about anything, and he earned the respect and admiration of his community for his skill and work ethic.

In addition to his career and family, Charles had a deep love for the simple joys of life. He enjoyed fishing, playing softball, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, including Mississippi State and the Kansas City Chiefs. His passion for these teams was rivaled only by his love for those closest to him.

Charles is survived by his three children, Rhonda Hopper and her husband, Michael, Eddie McKnatt and his wife, Natasha, and Vickey Hester, and her husband, Mike; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Gail Eads, and Norma Richmond.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Luke; grandson, Christ Hester; and wife, Charlene McKnatt.
