Charles W. Justice
TUPELO - Charles Wilmer Justice, 87, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a short illness. He was born in Russellville, Ala., to Mack Charles and Elmar Barret Justice. He was formerly of Corinth and had lived in Tupelo since 1973. He was a former employee of Mid-South Packers, retiring in 1985, and a member of Temple Baptist Church. Mr. Justice was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force and was the recipient of the Purple Heart.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with the Rev. DeWayne Ard officiating. Burial will be in the Priceville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Gladys Modell Justice of Tupelo; one son, William Eugene Justice of Tupelo; one sister, Ruby Castile of Corinth; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
