CHARLES ELLIS Mooreville - Charles Wayne Ellis, 47, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born in Tupelo on August 30, 1966 to Charles and Linda Ellis of Mooreville. He was a graduate of Mooreville High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, Nascar, Braves baseball and spending time with his children and family. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Ricky Pierce officiating. A graveside service will follow at Ellis Cemetery. Survivors include his parents, Charles and Linda Ellis; one son, Kenneth Ellis of Mooreville; two daughters, Monica Ellis and Angel Ellis both of Mantachie; one sister, Melinda Moore (Paul) of Nettleton; two brothers, Richard Ellis and Paul Ellis both of Mooreville; fiancee' Kimberly Kinchen of Mooreville; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews all of Mooreville; his paternal grandmother, Ruth Weaver of the Richmond Community. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth Collinsworth, Clifton McGhee and Charles Ellis, Sr. Pallbearers will be Danny Hardin, Michael Langley, David McGhee, Chad Ellis, Timothy Ellis and Matthew Mobley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Moore and Dale McGhee. Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 and continue Saturday at 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.at the funeral home.
