Tupelo - Charles Brazil, 66, died Friday, January 15, 2010, at Sanctuary Hospice House. A Tupelo native, he was born October 30, 1943 to Robert Edwin and Edna Wilson Brazil. He was a graduate of Belden High School. He worked for many years with DayBrite Lighting until his health failed. He was a member of Chesterville Baptist Church. He loved fishing.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Sammy Coker and Rev. Dave Jensen officiating. Burial will be in Chesterville Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Edna Brazil of Tupelo; one nephew, Robbie Brazil of Tupelo; three aunts, Louise Holcomb, Ann Lusby and Ann Cheek; several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Curtis and Danny Brazil.
Pallbearers will be his cousins.
Visitation will be 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the funeral home.
