Charlene Tutor

CHARLENE TUTOR Georgia - Charlene Laverne Tutor, 85, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Roswell Nursing and Rehab Center in Roswell, Georgia. She was born on October 18, 1928, to Cudallas Veloris and Oda Jane Hall Wood. She lived most of her early life in Guntown. In 1960, she moved with her family to live on a private island off the coast of California. Very friendly and out-going, she loved spending time with people. Services will be 1 p.m.at Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her four children, Belinda Jones (Don) of Buford, Geaorgia, Johnny Raley (Cathy) of Indiana, Sharon Raley of Maryville, California and Roger Hart of Tupelo; one sister, Sue Buzzard of Tupelo; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cudallas and Oda Jane Hall Wood and her brother, Jerry Wood.
