CARRIE SUE GRAY

Shannon - Carrie Sue Gray, 67, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at The Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. A Lee Co. native, she was born July 10, 1938 to the late Bud and Ellie Gillentine Gray. She was a graduate of Shannon High School and then went on to University Medical Center where she earned a degree in nursing. She was She was a retired nurse having served at North Mississippi Medical Center and Beverly Health Care. She was a very faithful and active member member of East Heights Baptist Church.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Terry L. Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Priceville Cemetery.

Survivors include her sister, Juanita Monaghan and husband, Wayne, of Tupelo; three brothers, Charles Davis of Ashville, NC; Joe Gray and wife, Vickie, of Jackson, and James Gray and wife, Myra, of Tupelo; several nieces and nephews and great-neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bud Gray, Jr. and Louis Gray.

Pallbearers will be Steven Ward, Drew Hunter, and Barry Gray.
