CAROLINE HANSON Tupelo - Caroline Hanson passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015, after a hard fight at the North Mississippi Medical Center with sure hope of her eternal home in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ where she is now. She was born in Pontotoc County to Alvis Jasper and Martha Maretta Salmon Palmer. She worked alongside her husband for over twenty years at Hanson Appraisal Service. She was a faithful wife, truly a helpmate and completer to her husband in all areas of their lives. She and her husband taught a Sunday School Class for nineteen years at the Mitchell Center. Caroline was a faithful member of First Baptist Church for almost forty years where she ministered as a preschool teacher for many years. She was an ardent student of the Word of God and a faithful follower. Caroline was known for her service and care of others and being a prayer warrior. She had a wealth of friends who loved her in her church. Don't weep for Caroline for she is now celebrating in the love of Jesus. Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Tupelo First Baptist Church with Dr. Gayle Alexander officiating. Graveside services will follow at Lee Memorial Park. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bob Hanson; three sisters-in-law, Linda Harbor (Jr.), Debbie Edwards (Terry) and Judy Parker (Wayne); two nieces; and the son of her heart, Bryan Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Pallbearers will be Bill Stennet, Bryan Henderson, James and David Hall, Phil Daughdrill and Lawson McCellan.
