CARL LEE WHITE Saltillo - Carl Lee White, 66, died Saturday, December 15, 2012, at his home. He was born May 7, 1946 to William Essery and Ila Mae Allen White. He had lived the last twenty years in Saltillo. During his life, he was proud to have been a carpenter, a farmer and a painter. He enjoyed gardening, yard work and was an avid fisherman. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Neil Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery in Saltillo. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Dorothy "Dot" White of Saltillo; his four children, Brian Keith White (Lori) of Norridge, Illinois, Timothy Carlton White, Carla Dianne Riddle and Grant Lynn White (Melissa Evans) all of Saltillo; six siblings, Pauline Bennel of Pontotoc, Shirley Sapp of Saltillo, James R. White (Kathryne) of Hickman, Kentucky, Brenda White, of Tupelo, Doyle White (Kathy) of Pontotoc and Linda Newman (David) of Olive Branch; a sister-in-law, Lola White of Amory; fourteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers, Thomas White, William Edward White, Bobby White, Jackie White, Billy Dunn White and Joe Frank White. Pallbearers will be Jason Farquhar, Thomas, Richard "Bo"White, Ronnie White, Ray Smith, Randy Goines and Billy Edward White. Honorary pallbearers will be his friends. Visitation will be 4 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Saltillo Funeral Home.
