Tupelo - Candy Louise Brown, 26, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an unexpected illness. A native of Chicago, Illinois, she was born August 4, 1984. She had lived in Tupelo the past year. She was a stay at home mom and loved taking care of her children. She had an exemplary faith in God.

Survivors include three children, Jennifer Avila, Wyatt Brown and August Brown, all of Tupelo; her grandmother, Louise Sharp of Tupelo; her step-father, Eddie Young of Chicago; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tina Brown.
