Calvin O'Cain
TUPELO " James Calvin O'Cain, 60, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at the North Miss. Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 6, 1946, in Memphis. He was the owner of O'Cain Plumbing Inc. of Tupelo and a member of the Walnut Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended Mississippi State University. He was an avid runner and he loved hunting and fishing.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Gene Asbury officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne O'Cain of Tupelo; one daughter, Christin O'Cain of Germantown, Tenn.; two stepdaughters, Aleisha Bracken and Christine Bracken, both of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; two sisters, Belva Polland and Pete of Tupelo and Darlene Estes and Tim of Jackson; and his mother, Dorothy O'Cain of Walnut.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. O'Cain.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
